LMS 3.1 can't enter mail server in CS

When I run job in LMS it says email notification failed check the email server in CS Server/Admin/System Preferences. I have my email id set to user@domain.com however the smtp server is stuck on LOCALHOST and if I try to change it to my email server it says your changes have been saved, but it goes immediately back to LOCALHOST. Any ideas?

This sounds like a problem with the regdaemon.xml file. Please post NMSROOT/MDC/etc/regdaemon.xml.

Here is the regdaemon.xml file.

Replace yours with this version after backing it up. Then you should be able to change your SMTP server.
