I've got a Cisco 7940G phone which is playing up so I thought i'd look in the Debug Display log....There's lots in there, but i can't find anywhere on the net which actually tells me what it all means.

Does anyone know of a Cisco (or any) URL which explains the error codes?

For reference, this is what i'm getting: -

Hi Paul,

Hope you are fine, This is for developer use only and is of no use to a customer or partner. There is no document describing what it means.

What is the problem the IP Phone is experiencing?

Thanks

I am experiencing the same error messages on a 7940g as well.  Has anyone found out what it means?  The user reports intermittent loss and recovery of sound during phone calls.  We have mls qos configured on the ports and this particular phone is on a 10 meg full duplex grounded outside run.  The switch port appears fine (no errors).
