HUM 1.1.1 Interface Utilisation

Hi,

I am configuring a Poller for Interface utilisation and have an issue with Serial Interfaces which don't seem to have a relevant counter (see attached PDF).

I suspect I have to reconfigure Hum to obtain the relevant info, just where and what ?

Most of the Routers use the same IOS version 12.4(12c).

HUM 1.1.1 was bad, and should not have been downloaded. You are being affected by CSCsv80038:

Symptom:

Health and Utilization Monitor reports errors for Interface Utilization pollers. The errors are permanent claiming the interfaces have No Such Instance for ifHCInOctets and ifHCOutOctets.

Conditions:

This occurs after upgrading the HUM 1.0.1 or HUM 1.1.1. The interfaces affected will be slower speed (i.e. less than 20 Mbps).

Workaround:

A template for monitoring interface utilization from slower speed interfaces is available by calling the TAC.
