Hello,
We have some gateways AS3400, some 3550 and two gateways 3500.
I was trying to remove some crashinfo from the bootflash, the I performed?
router#delete bootflash:<file>
After this command (as normal) the files I deleted appeared taged as deleted.
I got very surprised when I tryed to use the squeeze command and the command wasnt there =0.
That leads me to the question...
How can I flush the deleted files from the bootflash without the squeeze command (please dont say I need to reboot the gateway :( )

Hello Luis,
Cisco devices have different filesystems and not all of them need the squeeze operation.
see
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps341/products_tech_note09186a00800a7515.shtml
if your devices have B filesystem the erase command is available but it will delete everything so you need before to upload what you want to restore later
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Hello Giuseppe,
First of all, thank you for your reply, saved me a lot of time.
So I guess theres nio other way, I would need to use the erase command and recopy the files I need from TFTP.
Aight, thanks again for your reply.
Happy new year
