Translate TCP to x.25 issue

Hello,

I'm translating TCP to x.25 on a Cisco 3640 router.

Every time a 0D or 8D character is sent in the application layer it is translated to a real carriage return creating multiple x.25 packets.

Does anybody know how to make this translation transparent ?

I'm using the following command :

Translate tcp 192.168.1.1 port 10000 stream x25 1262625 quiet.

Thanks in advance.

Chris,

Try changing the default x29 profile as follow:

x29 profile default 3:0

This should fix the issue.

Thanks for your response.

But the x29 profile configuration doesn't fix the issue.

Note however that this is not about an inbound x.25 connection. The TCP socket is translated to an outbound x25 connection.

Adding the swap option to the translate command solved the issue.

Thanks for the support !
