I want to upgrade the memory of a pix 515.

I know I need at least 128MB for using a pix 7.2. But I can not find how much memory I can add to my Pix. I mean I can find any information telling we can go until 512 MB or 1GB.

any body know who far we can go??

There are 2 slots for memory in a Pix 515E and the maximum memory chip is 128Mb so technically you can go up to 256Mb but i'm not sure that is supported by Cisco.

Typically you have either have 2 x 32Mb for v6.x and before or 2 x 64 for v7.x.
