Why ASA 5520 vpn PLUS LICENSE IMAGE asa724-k8.bin

Hello,

I am trying to configure the L2L vpn.

The cmd "crypto map MAP 10 ipsec-isakmp"

is not finishing to enable L2L vpn instead gives error:incomplete command.

if we do ? then it shows "dynamic" then selecting the dynamic thne ? shows WORD.

Why cann't we select crypto map itself.

Hi,

The above syntax is valid for IOS but not for ASA.

You need to configure the Crypto Map parameters as below

crypto map MAP 10 set transform-set <>

crypto map MAP 10 set peer <>

crypto map MAP 10 match address <>

And then apply the Crypto Map to the interface

crypto map MAP interface <>

You will also need to configure the ISAKMP policies and enable ISAKMP.
