CCM 4.13 Call On Hold - Can it be picked up by another phone?

Answered Question

Which is NOT a shared line? So I call 51741 and place it on hold - is there a way for the call to be picked up a user on phone with DN 59999 without the call being parked?

Hello,

Im not 100% sure on this, but Im guessing that you will at least have to park the call for it to be retrieved by another extension.

I think that is the only way also. You have to Park the call and provide the 2nd user the Park number and then they can pick up the caller that has been Parked.

If the two phones share a DN - then it is a no-brainer. But if the two phones don't share a DN, the only way this can be accomplished is if the first user Parks the call.
