Currupted IOS

I attempted to update the IOS on a Catalyst 2916M switch. The boot file was corrupted and I have been unable to resolve the problem. I have now problem uploading a new .bin file but the unit does have enough memory. When i attempt to delte the old .bin I don;t have premission

Hi,

It looks like you have a 2900XL Desktop switch. It should be delete flash:cat2900XL-h2s-mz.112-8.5-SA6.bin - flash is the equivalent of bootflash on this platform.
