Not able to Telnet,"Out of system processes, Try Later"

Hi All,

We are using WS-C6506-E,not able to telnet to the device ,throws the message "Out of system processes, Try Later".

Once we reload the switch we can able to login.every 2 to 3hrs we are facing this issue.Running with sup32 and all the slots populated with 6148 RJ 45 modules.

I have this problem too.

Sounds like the switch is overworked. And cant process your telnet request. Are you running any extensive debugs? Are the lights on the switch going crazy (IE a loop. Those are the things i can think of off the top of my head that would lead to an easy answer.

I ran into this problem with WS-C3560 and it seemed to be memory related. When monitoring, the memory would be almost completely exhausted and we had to reload the system to return it to normal.

We upgraded the IOS to 12.2(46) and it seems to have alleviated the problem.

BTW, we only noticed it if we used Cisco Network Assistant to connect. I don't know if that is the problem or the http/https engine, but that was our experience.
