Gurus,
I have a general routing question. What is the default routing behavior of Cisco routers and switches ? Is it destination or source based routing ?
How do we implement source routing if the default routing is destination based ?
How do we implement source interface based routing ?
I am just comparing the default routing behavior from other vendors' equipments.
Thanks,
k0rg

The default on cisco routers and switches is destination based routing.
If you want to implemene routing based on the source IP address you need to look at Policy Based Routing -

Not only destination based routing is the default for Cisco but also for all IP routing equipment vendor I know of.
