Hi all,
i'm setting up a cisco 2821 as h323 voice gateway for a CUCM 6.X (i'md oing a migration from cucme to cucm).
This is the configuration h323 gateway config:
--- for inbound call---
voice class h323 1
h225 timeout tcp establish 3
!
!
dial-peer voice 69 pots
incoming called-number .T
direct-inward-dial
!
dial-peer voice 223 voip
preference 1
destination-pattern 223
voice-class h323 1
session target ipv4:10.1.10.10
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
codec g711ulaw
!
ip 10.1.10.10 is the cucm ip address.
______________________________________
---for outbound call---
all is working fine!
______________________________________
So, if i try to call 223 number, CUCM reject call.
223 is a directory number registered on CUCM that is working fine for outbound call.
Any idea?

make sure you're sending the call from the IP configured under CUCM
h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr ip_address
h323-gateway voip interface
CUCM only accepts calls from IPs he recognizes for H323
HTH
java
if this helps, please rate

Also make sure the Calling Search Space for the h323 gateway in CM can see the Partition where the DN 223 is in.

I didn't configure any partition or calling search space. Is this mandatory?
Thanks

Hi Diego
How many interfaces do you have on your H.323 gateway? If you don't configure the "h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr" command on the Interface with the IP configured in CUCM, the gateway will use the otugoing interface for the source IP.
Sometimes also a Reset on the H.323 Gateway Config on CUCM helps ;-)
Have you tried to "debug cch323 h225"?
Regards
Stefan
