directory number - secondary number on CUCM 6.X

Hi all,

can i configure a directory number with two numbers (for example 100 for inbound internal call and 333333300 for inbound external call)?

if you're looking something similar to what you can have in CME of 2 numbers one internal and one E164 that's strictly a capability of CME, CUCM does not provide this

as already stated, 2 DNs need to be created or a translation pattern need to be configured

You can A) create two seperate line appearances on the phone, one for internal (100) and one for external (3333333000), or B) translate the 3333333000 into 100 as it enters the voice network so internal and external inbound calls appear on the same line appearance. I do not know of a way to assign a single line appearance two seperate directory numbers.

You cannot assign a single line appearance to multiple directory numbers.
