I get this error often when the AD admin in our company deletes a user out of AD and Exchange before I delete them out of Unity.

Or sometimes it is also the other way around.

In our company, Unity does not create or delete AD or exchange account or mailboxes.

That is why you get that error probably

the account is fine and the mailbox is fine. Is the Unity subscriber fine?

What version of Exchange and Unity?

What OS is Exchange installed on?

Are there any symptoms other than these errors?

Randy

Hi -

To add to what Randy has already suggested, you might also check the inheritance on the Security tab of the user account in question. Make sure inheritance is checked and is in an OU that receives the permissions that are applied when the Unity Permissions wizard is run. I also found this doc - http://www.ciscosystems.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_tech_note09186a00800949dc.shtml which may not apply to your Unity version. This is for problems with Unity greater than a single user, but thought I would include for your reference.
