hi,
Are they two different methods? I see that both of them use almost the same commands (interface tunnel, tunnel source, ...).
The only difference I see is the Tunnel Mode and the IPv6 addresse we assign to the tunnel interfaces.
any idea?

Manual tunnels are more like P2P tunnels whereas 6 to 4 tunnels are point-to-multipoint tunnels.
In 6to4 tunnel the destination address is derived by representing an IPv4 address in IPv6 format
