There are 3 LAN sites that I would like to connect to a WAN, The sites are all in the same state but are spread out over a large distance. Each LAN has approximatley 100 users, Verizon is offering a fractional T1 line via a frame relay conncetion? Should I upgrade the T1 line? What design and hardware should I use? Thank You

For 100 users, you need at least T1. The hardware of choice can be between a 2800 or 3800 ISR router.

Edison.

The # of users to bandwidth are not hardwired. We have sites with 100 users that work well on a very limited bandwidth, while other sites with fewer than 100 users need far more than a T1. It really depends on what they are doing.

One thing you might look at with Verizon is a simple MPLS network, much better than frame IMHO, should be about the same price. Gives you additional flexibility and easier QoS too.
