hi every body!
Let say we have following configurations:
no eerdisable detect cause all.
errdisable detect cause bpduguard.
errdisable detect cause channel-misconfig.
errdisable recovery interval 10.
Will the last command set the recovery interval at 10 seconds for both causes or simply for channel-misconfig?
thanks a lot!

Sarah,
The recovery interval will apply to the BPDU guard and the channel-misconfig only. The current statements posted will attempt to recover the errdisabled state for the configured issues. The default recovery time is 300 seconds, but the "errdisable recovery interval 10" command changes it to 10 seconds for both of them. Here is an excellent guide that will explain much more.

Hi Sarah,
It will not enable errdisable recovery for any cause because by default errdisable recovery for all causes are disabled.
So you also need to configure
errdisable recovery cause
and then the errdisable recovery interval for causes configured will be 10 seconds.
