unable to delete a image file

I am trying to delete an older version ios image file in the slavebootflash, but i get the following message "error deleting cat400.. (file not found)

i verified spelling...

any ideas?

hey it means that the image is already delted, try to squeeze the bootflash and then give Sh bootflash: when if delted earlier u will not the image.

If the file had been deleted, the system will not find it hence the error message:
