I would like to know whether the ethernet ports in Cisco 877 are routed ports or switch ports. Can multiple subnets be assigned to the 877 ethernet ports.
Are these ports just like the normal ethernet interfaces found on the routers.

the ethernet ports are switchports, but on the 877 you can have up to 8 vlans( int vlan xx), so you can assign different vlans to different ports with the switchport access vlan xx command or make them trunk ports just like any other L2 port

If I were to assign each port to a different VLAN, to enable interVlan routing I think 'Advanced IP Services' will be required.
Please let me know the command to check whether 877 router has the advanced ip license or not.

just do a "show version" command
