ASDM error

Hi ,

installed a brand new asa5510 with 7.x ios and 5.x asdm .

Performed basic configuration via cli ( ip address and http enable ) .

Then we conencted with asdm . The connection succeed but then we got the following error

"asdm is unable to read configuration from asa..."

What can be the problem ?

problem may be the mismatch of ios verison and asdm. It can also be problem with java i dont feel so.

if you had provided the proper ios and asdm i could have told u if its compatable.
