CCDE track - CCNP CCDP recert query

Answered Question
Jan 12th, 2009

Hello,

I have a CCNP and CCDP which are due to run out at the end of 2009, I would like to take both CCDE exams within 2009, but, if I take the qualification exam first, and pass, will this re-new my NP and DP certification automatically, if so, how long for? Its so I know I don't have to study for NP and DP recerts this year as well as the CCDE pratical, providing I pass the qualification DE exam first.

Thanks in adavance.

Phil

I have this problem too.

Hi Phil,

If you pass the CCDE Written you would re-certify both the CCNP and CCDP for another 3 years :)

CCNP Recertification

CCNP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06, or pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam.

CCDP Recertification

CCDP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06, or pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam.
