7970 Displays "???" in status field after CM upgrade to 6.1.2

Hi everyone,

Have an interesting problem. After this weekend's upgrade to 6.1.2 a few 7970's around the cluster are displaying "???" in the status field instead of the normal "Your current options." Any thoughts? We've power cycled them with no luck....and phones that are configured the exact same are working fine. Just these random few.

This is a bug. I'm too lazy to search the bug toolkit at the moment to give you the specific bug ID but apply current firmware and it'll be gone.

If it were a firmware bug...wouldn't it effect EVERY 7970 instead of just a handfull?

Never underestimate the quirkiness of bugs.

For example, this could be it: CSCsm35191

If only some of your phones had DND, this would be the problem.

Another possibility: CSCsj18895 (less likely)

Good point Nick. Every time I expect CUCM and the phones to act logically...they prove me wrong :)

The CSCsm35191 bug looks to be it. Thanks for the input guys!
