once after copying the file to system, system verifies its integrity i.e. using checksum, it it doesnt match means image is corrupted, try loading new image see to that checksum i verified as OK.

--srini

I upgraded the IOS to 12.3(26) and it reloaded fine. But then I turned off the power for 5 minutes and it displayed image checksum error again. I reloaded it once more and it worked fine.

I'm guessing the flash on the router is bad??

On these 2500's, is it just the memory stick?
