Hello,

I'm studying the option of having Internet Access and MPLS VPN Access through the same link (a trunk, with 2 different VLANS allowed) to the Telco.

Are there any security issues that i must be aware of, or is perfectly safe?

(since internet traffic is flowing through same trunk that internal vpn traffic flows)

What are the main security problems that may arise?

Thanks,

Met.

Can't anybody give some notes on this case?

Thanks,

Met.

Since both are two different Layer3 circuits , there is no problem having different circuits thru same link . We are also connected in the similar manner to our Telco and we have many customers (in different VLAN ) thu single trunk link
