port forward port 5001 to internal ip address

Hi all,

I have a cisco 837. It is connected to a adsl broadband connection. I would like to configure it so that when I connect to it from remotely (from work) on port 5001 it will forward to an internal ip address

The application is a streaming media app. So I will point the app at work to by external ip address port 5001 and then the router should except the connection and port forward it to ip address port 5001.

I have this problem too.

ip nat outside source static tcp x.x.x.x 5001 5001

ip nat outside source static udp x.x.x.x 5001 5001

x.x.x.x = public ip address

This will work if you already have NAT correctly set up. You may only need either tcp or udp.
