Hi all,
when i try to connect with my ASA using ASDM application i got this error message:
"ASDM is unable to read the configuration from the ASA. Please check the configuration and your connection and then try again by clicking the refresh button".
Any suggestion?

Can you do a show run from your ASA and at the very end of the ASA check the checksum value, does it have 32 characters?

HI All,
For this now you can download the new ASDM which fixed the issuie.
asdm-61551.bin
Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager for ASA 8.0(2), 8.0(3), 8.0(4), 8.1(1) and 8.1(2).
Hope this helps

If you can't downgrade your java environment you should update your ASA version and then your ASDM version.
