RFC's Loopback Addresses 1.1.1.x etc.

Are these public or private addresses?, or what?

These are public IP addresses.

hmm.. that's odd. I have seen these to be used widespread in the enterprise arena, privately for mgt addrs on routers and switches for example.

Although they are public addresses I use, and have seen IP's just like this in lab scenario's just because they are simple and easy to remember. They are in an internet routable IP space so be careful!!!!
