CME- utility configuration

hello,

i want to configure a CME for the first time. i would ask if there is any utility that i can use to configure CME easily ( like web utility..).

If you have a UC520 you can try Configuration Assistant.


Otherwise, this is the most basic configuration you can use to get CME to work (to save some documentation time):


telephony-service

ip source-address A.B.C.D

max-dn X

max-ephones X


ephone-dn 1

number 1000


ephone 1

mac AAAA.BBBB.CCCC

type

button 1:1


You can use the CME GUI as well.

You can also use Cisco Configuration Professional. This is the addition to the UC520 version of Configuration Assistant. I'll be honest - never used this. I know the CLI, however. Here's the product guide, download link is towards the right:
