Hello ,
My customer can't see 6500 switches when he launch a discovery.
The CDP has been enabled on it .The snmp walk OID give:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2
RFC1213-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB::cat6509
I have got the 6500's running config tycally set up on the all switches.I added it on the attachements .
Thanks

Hmm... if this is a full config (without censor), could it be that he forgot to configure access-list 1?
snmp-server community cisco_read RO 1
snmp-server community cisco_admin RW 1

Ok thanks for the information, i didn't suspect that we could use an access list in SNMP.
I'm gone testing without the field 1 before the RO and RW or adding the Acces list 1 concerned.
Thanks very much.

We have removed the field 1 and the Discovery see the 6500 switch like Unreachable. It has been seen by CDP and the credentials has been verified and Ok ?
So the problem is stil existing ..........

Unreachable usually means there are no snmp response from the switch. When you do discovery, do you put this 6500 switch as the seed device?
Also, check the snmp community configuration for this switch's IP address.

Dears all,
we made a test under the LMS.
The discovery has been made for a switch configure like a seed device.
The discovery has been relaunched and the switch 6500 /@ip 152.33.100.103 is still unreachable.
