LMS - Status of Crucial Interfaces Reported Immediately

Hi Guys

I have a LMS2.6 Bundle , Is it possible that if any critical interface on any device changes its status UP/Down , I should immediately get an email from LMS .

Dear Asfar!

You can use Notification Services in DFM to achieve this task.

Create a EVENT SET First (A,B,C etc)

Create a Notification Group in which u can assign devices for which event set will be applicable.

Than u can Create EMAIL NOTIFICATION based on Notification group.

And it will start sending alerts in email as soon as any event occur.

Thanks for the reply....can you please elaborate further that how can I add specified critical interface only from particular Devices to the Notification Services of DFM.
