I found this very interesting comment from Gilles Dufour :
"The ixp work in a pipeline fashion.
The first IXP will do session lookup (detect if this is a new session or traffic part of an existing session)
The 2nd one will do TCP lookup, ...
Finally the last one will do NAT.
The most used IXP are 1 and 5 because they will see all packets of every sesssion."
Q1: does anyone can give some comments about IXP4's role ? This CPU is always to zero !
Q2: we plan to do HTTP header insertion on a existing VIP. Do we know which IXP CPU will be impacted ?
Q3: Are there OIDs SNMP to monitor the IXP CPUs ?
