LDAP Authentication for IP Endpoints

When Users authenticate against Active Directory and with Enterprise Mobility enabled, the user usually logs into a telephone with their NTlogin ID and their EM PIN. Is there any way to let the user log in using their extension number and EM PIN?

You would need to the Active Directory telephoneNumber attribute as the LDAP User ID attribute under System > LDAP > LDAP System Configuration.

The End User usernames will be derived - cluster wide - from the telephoneNumber attribute instead of the default sAMAccountName.

Many thanks, Obviously users would still see usernames etc as the sn and given name are imported aswell, am I correct in this?
