CM 6.1 Route List Issue

Hello Everyone,

Running CM 6.1 with centralized call processing in a hub and spoke design. CM is at the hub and several remote offices are the spokes. PRI at central site and remote sites have 2800 routers with local PSTN connectivity. First 4 calls go out local gateways at remote sites. A route list that contains the local gateway and PRI at the central site is in place so that 5th and subsequent calls go out PRI at central site. Remote and central sites are in different area codes but that is taken care of with route list member information since if 5th call from remote site in area code 443 is dialed as a local call it actually is an LD call coming from area code 715.

Here is the problem. Some calls originating from 715 to within 715 are 7 digit dialing. Other calls originating from 715 to certain numbers within 715 require 1(715)xxx-xxxx. When remote site calls go out the central site PRI at area code 715 we strip the dialed 1(715) to make it 7 digits forwarded to the PSTN (easy enough) BUT we also have to be able to KEEP or ADD back the dialed 1(715) for the calls that require it. We can do either/or but can't figure out how to do both.

Thanks in advance! All replies rated.

How many gateways do you have in your route list?

How many calls go through that gateway normally?

In 7.x we have Local Route RGs.

That takes care of this issue.

Otherwise you need H.323 and dialrules.

Do you know what numbers need the full 715 prefix or ones which do not require it ?- If yo do then you can set up a translation pattern to add or delete the prefix`s?
