SNMP Trap definition for c6kxbar

snmp-server enable traps c6kxbar intbus-crcexcd intbus-crcrcvrd swbus


Can someone explain what this trap does? I cannot find an explanation on CCO

These traps are only applicable for crossbar switching fabric modules.

cc6kxbarIntBusCRCErrExcdNotif NOTIFICATION-TYPE

STATUS current

DESCRIPTION

"A cc6kxbarIntBusCRCThreshExcdNotif notification

is sent by the system when the system has

detected that the internal bus CRC error on

a physical entity (such as a module) as specified

by entPhysicalName has exceeded the fatal threshold."

Thanks for the quick reply. Is this used for just the fabric module or also for the sup720?I have all new sup720s and trying to find out if this is needed going forward.
