We upgraded from CM 4.2 to 7.0(1). Everything looks like it's working okay except we're getting Cristical Service Down messages in RTMT - Service Status is down, Cisco Messaging Interface. Alerts are popping up almost every minute. Any ideas where to start looking?

legacy meaning an SMDI integration. Unity is SCCP or SIP, doesn't need at all the CMI service

are you using a legacy VM integration???
if not, then there's nothing to worry about as that service if for that purpose

As long as Unity isn't considered a legacy VM app. Can I disable this service?
