We are running FWSM's on 3.2.8 and have a case where an application residing on two servers whose traffic traverses through the FWSM's and utilizes tcp healthchecks for failover. The problem we are seeing is that when connections are cleared on the FWSM, the tcp healthcheck by the server application does not receive a reset, and so the backup server continues to use the existing tcp socket, which causes the application to failover.

Is there a way to configure the FWSM to selectively send a tcp reset for a connection that has dropped for a specific source, or destination, or port?
