Is there a way to have a 10 digit number on the User in Active Directory and only pull the last 4 for the Global Directory and Attendant Console in UC 6.x?

I have this problem too.

AC automatically reloads the directory on a timer. If you are looking for the ability to dial the 10 digit dn that is synched from the telephone number attribute in AD then you should be able to accomplish this by using dial rules in AC, application rules in CM, or translation patterns in CM.

yes, sync off ipPhone instead of telephoneNumber

if you are trying to get Attendant Console to show line state, you can add an Application Dial Rule to match the area code prefix of a 10 digit number and strip the first 6 digits
