how to limit traffic or packets on cmts(ubr7246vxr)

Is there any command or procedure where we can put on cmts( ubr 7246vxr) link coming from netwrk serice provider which established a thrshold on the traffic on that link and generate a trap or log ?

would cable downstream rate limit acheive that..

I see you are interested on traffic from network service provider.

I think you can manage the interface with the usual SNMP MIB counters for inoctets outcotets

the command you mention is meant towards cable modems in downstream direction I think:
