Static nating and reverse proxy problem!

Hi all,

I have PIX515e running software version 8.0(4).

The topology is as follow:

(Users cloud) connected to outside

(PIX)

(Proxy)

(WWW Server) connected to inside

The problem is when the user type the natted ip address of the front interface of the reverse proxy (the natting performed by the pix) as url,it gives an error that the proxy can't get the original web site.

When the natting rule is disabled or configure natting with the global ip equals to the local ip, the user can browse the www server through the reverse proxy server.

When I enable or disable the http inspection, it gives the same result.

Is there a way to make the firewall un-nat the requested url to solve this issue?

Best regards.

The below explains about the configuration initially blocks traffic from external hosts to all devices on the internal network until browser authentication is performed using authentication proxy. After authorization, the access list passed down from the server (permit tcp|ip|icmp any any) adds dynamic entries to access list 116 that temporarily allow access from the external PC to the internal network.
