Solved: non-designated port in stp

hi every body!

What is non-designated port in stp? Is it root port and blocked port or only blocked port? Some cisco docs refer it as root port and blocked port while others refer to it as only blocked port.

Well, both;-)

Every port that is not designated is... non-designated. You are probably hitting some inconsistencies in the docs.
