Please what is the bandwidth of a tunnel interface as seen by routing protocols like eigrp and ospf.

Hi Kennie,
The bandwidth of tunnel interface configured using bandwidth command just indicates the value assumed to be available by routing protocols etc for metric calculation.
The actual bandwidth is dependent on the line rate (actual rate of sending bits) of the physical interface (acting as tunnel source).

Bandwidth chosen is the one that is set under the tunnel interface.
By default the tunnel bandwidth is 9k so the protocols will use 9k as the bandwidth if you have not set one
