All my CCNA & CCNP has been expired 3 years ago.

Can I take CCIE R&S written to renew all my CCNA & CCNP or do I have t re-take them again.

I have this problem too.

You have to take them all again. Once they expire thats it you have no grace period.

Hi Nishit,

You can take the CCIE R&S. But it won't renew your CCNA & CCNP exams. As your Cisco ID is expired.

You can login to cisco & check it out by yourself.

Thanks.

Sorry I'm in similar situation, both my CCNA and CCNP expired, but just want to know if I can take again the CCNP without renewing my CCNA.

Also you mentioned the other colleague that he can check the status by itself, I have a valid CCO user but not able to check the status, can you tell me how?

You can take the CCNP tests (and/or any other tests)and pass, but you won't receive certification until you pass CCNA again.

Current CCNA is a pre-requisite. Once the cert expires, it's as if you never had it.

I wish Cisco would get off their duff and fix the verbiage of that information. You must be CURRENT to be re-certified. Expired certs cannot be re-certified (some grace time is given to CCIE).

Good Luck

Scott
