AAA: ACS 4.0, to 4.2 restore

We have acs 4.0.1 running and we have a new fresh install of 4.2. I tried to restore the Database of users, group and nsetork but it is not allowing me to do it. Is there a tool or a procedure to allow the database to be restored from the old ver to 4.2.

The only process that will allow this is during the installation process. I would suggest removing ACS 4.2 from the new system and install 4.0.1. Copy the backup from the old 4.0.1 system and restore on the new 4.0.1 system. Now upgrade the new 4.0.1 system 4.1 then to 4.2 per the upgrade scenarios in the ACS 4.2 Installation Guide. This will bring your db up to date.
