MGCP - PRI

Usually when we order PRI's for our sites the telco pushes us 4 digits and we prefix 3 digits infront of the number which would match to somebody ext number. The problem I have is the Telco can only push us 10 digits so I need to figure out how I strip the first 6 digits and prefix a 3 digit code to this number.

Hello,

Make a translation pattern with the full 10 digit number. In the called party transform mask, set this to the extension that you would like to point the 10 digit number to.

Hope that helped, if so please rate.

Hello Daniel, I remember working with you

before.

This is just an idea similar to what kenneth.mohammed is proposing, since I do not have a CCM right now I can't test it out now, so I will work with assumptions given that I do not have thee accurate information about the setup.

So for example you get 407241XXXX from the Telco, being XXXX the last

four digits on the called number you get from the Telco.

You need to prefix a three digit code 111, in order to get at the end

the number 111XXXX which is an extension on your CCM - hope I'm following the idea at this point - .

So create a Translation Pattern 407241XXXX and on the called party

transformation mask field set 111XXXX.

Of course make sure that the CSS of the Translation Pattern can

reach the partition of the DN that we are trying to reach and that

the CSS of the PRI endpoint can reach the CSS of the Translation

pattern.

Hope that does the trick.

What's your gateway protocol? SIP/H323/MGCP?
