Unable to access internal network

We have ASA5550. We setup Split-tunneling. However, the remote users were not able to access the internal network (SQL database and intranet web server). They can get to corporate network and internet, however. Do you have any suggestions how to troubleshoot this problem? Thanks.

First I would test basic connectivity, ping for example, are they reachable? if they are and services such as SQL and HTTP are not working I would turn on logs on the ASA to check if there are any dropped packets
