We have a 2800 router & a 2960 switch in a remote branch connected via MPLS, these devices are known & reachable in campus manager but I'm unable to view these in Topology view/Cisco view.
I can see all the rest of the devices within the campus.

CM

Since CDP does not work over MPLS, this remote branch will not be shown as connected on the topology map. The devices will either appear as an island on the layer 2 view, or as individual devices on the unconnected devices view.
If you are encountering errors in LMS relating to these devices, then you need to post those errors.

That makes it the same as ASA Firewall which does support CDP.. in this case can we still do other management tasks on RME, DFM, IPM etc; Is that correct!!
Pls confirm..
Thanks & Regards,
Syed

Yes, provided these devices are in DCR, RME and DFM can manage them.
