Reason for serial interface going up and down frequently??

Every 10 minutes serial interface of router going up and down. Serial interface connected to ISP..

it's hard to say, it could be clocking or power issue. either you or the isp experience some kind of network related problem. what's the speed of your link and could you post your show interface output?

Also check the log files for any activity that might be related.

sh log command output only gives

interface going down and up ..

When the interface goes down is it down/down or up/down.

What kind of routing protocols are set up on this interface?

As John pointed out - this could also be an issue on the other side of the interface, with your ISP.

Also try using the debug serial interface command to try and find more information on the failure.
