SRW224P trunked to SRW208P, VLAN setup?

I'm trying to have VLANs trunked over a single connection between an SRW224P and SRW208P switches, but I don't seem to be having any luck.

Is there a how-to document anywhere to making this work?

I'd also like to eventually add SLM2008 switches, and maybe SRW2008P gigabit switches, but I'd be happy to make the two in the title work together first.

Many Thanks In Advance for any pointers!

Hi,

I am not familiar with those models of switches - the first thing i would do is find out if they support 802.1Q VLAN trunking/tagging?

It sounds like this is what you want to acheive...

A lot of switches (non-cisco) refer to a VLAN trunked link as a "Tagged" link and a trunked link will often mean a form on Etherchannel.

Maybe try and find out some online doco's / guides for the switches,

Cheers

Jonathan

Some late but... yes They can!
