Hi,
In one of our customer's setup the Voice GWs will be in the DMZ zone , and CCM & CRS/IVR server will be in the intranel(LAN) zone.
What is the most recommended signalling & Medial protocol which most customers will use across firewalls?

Which signalling protocol you will be using between callmanager and voice gws.
SIP
MGCP
H323
CRS/IPIVR talks to CCM via Jtapi.

What is the reasoning behind putting GW in DMZ? What is connected to the GW, i.e. PRIs, SIP Trunks, etc?
