Will I need to shut down the stack to add a new switch?

Thanks!

Make sure that the new switch has the same version of IOS as the other switches in the stack. Power off the new switch. Install the stackwise cables as per Cisco specifications. Power on the new switch. The new switch will become a member of the stack, there is no need to reboot the other switches.
